Oh yeah, it’s “more, more, more!” ;) That’s a song by Billy Idol, for those of you whose brains have not already started screaming the song.

.

“Mow, mow, mow” is what I’ve been doing since returning to NC. I’ve been home just a few hours short of fifteen days, and I’ve mowed two yards three times each.

.

Today, in my yard I found (and photographed) a few things.

.

Hungry Baby

One baby bird (feathered, but not flying well) on the ground below its nest. Eventually, its mother returned and helped it home.

Blackberries

Two cups of ripe blackberries from vines along the fence in my backyard.

Gladiolas

Three blooming stalks of gladiolas.

Blue Petals Butterfly Bush Day Lillies - Orange and Yellow

Ferns Mimosa Honeysuckle

Morning Glories - Pink and Purple Morning Glory - Purple Star Purple Flowers

Purple Feathers Purple and Green Purple Grass

Pink Rose Pink and White Rose Two Tiny Mushrooms

Tiny Yellow Flowers Tiny Stars - Red Yellow Pink Purple Heart in White Dress

And, flowers everywhere. The yard is not covered with flowers, but the flowers are all around the yard. They’re not something you will see unless you take the time to notice. They’re hiding in flowerbeds and bushes and vines. It’s quite wonderful.
