This is very interesting. The Los Angeles Times has a homicide blog project to document the deaths of every person murdered in Los Angeles (average of 3 each day in poor neighborhoods). What a compassionate idea and action to give families a way to publicly acknowledge their loved ones and have support as they grieve for them.

Reporter Jill Leovy covers every homicide in Los Angeles County, giving names to otherwise anonymous casualties — and some relief to their families.

Leovy is the creator of The Homicide Report, a blogging project by the Los Angeles Times in which she is attempting to record every homicide in Los Angeles County over the course of a year. She has covered over 700 to date.

Great Job Jill,

Here is what are the real civil liberties of USA to respect it own citizens and leave equal weightage to a LIFE.

To all the deaths and killings it reflects on mans self destructive nature.

All the best in your sincere effort towards human dignity.
