eFolkMusic is Changing

eFolkMusic is in the process of making some big changes. Over the past year, efm has given away over 25,000 (TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND) free mp3 downloads. Membership has been only $30/year. Membership gives you access to over 2,000 free mp3 downloads (probably more than any of us will ever download).

Here’s what’s changing. There will still be free mp3 downloads offered. There will still be 10-FREE-MP-DOWNLOADS offered every so often. But, the individual free mp3s, on individual artists’ sites, will be available for free only to members.

So, to keep downloading tracks from eFolkMusic without actually having to buy them, all you need to do is join. It’s a really great deal. If you love folk music, in all its many incarnations, maybe it’s time for you to join eFolkMusic.
