Robin Roberts removed her wig on Good Morning America. She played a song by India.Arie. that voices her feelings. “I am not my hair. I am not my skin. I am the soul that lies within.”

.

Robin Roberts has been appearing in public without her wig in recent weeks, but she had not been appearing on Good Morning America without it. Now she has chosen to remove the wig permanently.

.

Thank you, Robin, for sharing your experience with cancer and for inspiring those who know you, watch you and love you.
