This is a garden in progress. 
The garden area did not exist in mid-July, except for the bushes in the box frames. The photo was taken in mid-August. The chairs face a green back yard, with pear and cherry trees, and a butterfly bush, surrounded by a fence of trees. Mmmmmm.

Very nice! I like the fact that the chairs are a different color. They look bright and cheery, and not like they came from a K-Mart matching Martha Stewart set. Nice to see another gardener who likes Carol Boltz’s story.

Thanks for your comment. I just finished filling in the area with wood chips today. There is still a big pile of chips, so I’ll put another layer on top of it all to try to keep the crabgrass down.

Thanks for taking a look! It seems we both like to garden in abundance. Enjoy the chip spreading! I would ask for any extras, but I am in Seattle and will have to find my own.
